Life is a merry-go-round. Like the kind where you get on, chose the perfect horse, and start spinning, only to realize that you’ve had three sticks of cotton candy, ice cream, AND all those nachos, and while they were all delightful going down, they won’t be at all fun coming back up which is exactly what’s going to happen in just a few moments.
Life is sort of like that.
We are dealing with the recurrence of Lanty’s lymphoma, just when we’d settled into a new “normal” of remission and every-other week chemo. He’s okay for today. We’re all okay for the moment. But life can change in a blink, so for now, we’re just trying to keep the nachos down.
But look at how precious Lanty is:
We keep holding on to that.

Hi Lanty, lots of hugs and kisses from us. I’m so proud how brave and courageous you are and you are the best! Keep hanging tough sweet baby boy. Just a note to let you know we’re thinking and praying for you, and your Mom and Dad.
Hi Megan and Derek, if you need anything–just let me know. I’m so thankful your family are all still together and that the three of you are having more time together. I think of you often and I keep hoping and praying for the best. This is an R word none of us want to hear. Lanty has the best parents, so keep up the great work! Please don’t forget, I’m here if you need anything–so is everyone else too!

Hi, Lanty, Derek & Meg. So sorry to hear about Lanty’s new “r” word. It’s a roller coaster that’s not very much fun to be on. Lanty is so adorable in that picture. What a great guy!
We’re thinking of you. If you need anything, please let us know.
